A Brief History:
Ralph & Lou Shirley moved their family to Houston in 1961. In 1971 they settled into a home on 13 beautiful acres adjacent to Cypress Creek in North Houston. At their home, Ralph & Lou saw all 4 of their children celebrate their weddings. This inspired the Shirley’s to create a facility for special events so we all could experience the beauty that is Shirley Acres. The property where they chose to settle almost 40 years ago is now Shirley Acres and continues to be family owned and operated as a wedding and event facility.
