Went to a wedding here. The food offered here was actually super good and very well organized. The staff was very well organized and friendly. It was a good balance of letting the bride/groom do what they needed to for ceremony and establish norms. From my understanding the price is fair given what you get and the venue. We’ve had the pleasure of working at Shirley Acres Wedding & Event Venue on several occasions as an independent bartending service, and every experience has been exceptional. The venue is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and impeccably maintained. Every space is thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that makes every celebration feel truly special. Whether it’s a wedding or another special event, the setting provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories. The staff is always professional, welcoming, and well-organized, making it a pleasure to work alongside them. The service they provide to both vendors and guests is outstanding, and the food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented. As bartenders who have worked at many different venues, we can honestly say that Shirley Acres stands out for its professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. As a wedding photographer, I am always thrilled to shoot at Shirley Acres. The venue offers a wonderful mix of versatile spaces that make capturing a wedding day seamless. The outdoor ceremony areas are beautifully landscaped, providing a romantic backdrop for timeless portraits under the arches and mature trees. Moving inside, the reception hall is spacious and elegant, with excellent lighting control that lets us capture the vibrant energy of the reception and the crisp details of the table settings perfectly. The layout flows incredibly well from the ceremony to the party, and the staff is always organized and vendor-friendly. We are now coming up on our one year wedding anniversary and shame on me for not writing this review a lot sooner. To any Brides/Grooms to-be looking for a venue, or to anyone hosting any type of event, when I say you will have to look no further after meeting with Shirley Acres, I genuinely cannot stress this statement enough. At our initial meeting we were astounded from start to finish. So much so that all other prospective appointments were cancelled. Professional, hospitable, accommodating, enthusiastic, and reassuring are only a few ways to describe Stacie at said meeting. And considering we were doing all planning from hours away, we felt so at ease for planning that was to come. Kat was our assigned coordinator and we couldn't be more satisfied in communication and transparency. Now to the most important aspect of this review. Wedding Day! When I tell you that we have not had most, if not all, our wedding guests rave about every aspect of the day. Even as of a week ago we still have attendees telling us how it was the best wedding they have ever attended. I think as a couple that is one of the most rewarding things to hear. Dinner (we opted for BBQ) and a mid evening snack of tacos and fruit, all provided by the venue and their in house chef, was some of the best food we’ve had in general. The amount of people asking where the food was from and wanting recipes was overwhelming. Preferred vendors also didn’t miss the mark. Even with a few hiccups (not venue related) at the start, our coordinator and staff we hadn't even met went above and beyond to make sure the day was going to be perfect no matter what. It was honestly the best day and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you to Shirley Acres for making it an unforgettable milestone in our lives. Thank you for treating us like more than just clients. Thank you Mr Shirley for contacting us directly to reassure us that everything would be how we envisioned it. Shirley Acres was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding! My daughter knew this was the one the moment she toured the grounds with Stacie. Marissa, her coordinator, was truly the best and always got back to her so quickly and addressed any concerns. The day of the wedding couldn't have run more smoothly. Both the Pavilion and Courtyard looked absolutely beautiful and made the perfect backdrops for  photos. Having the food, drinks, cake from MEB Cakes, flowers, and DJ all-inclusive made planning practically stress-free! The florist worked closely with my daughter and brought her vision to life! The bridal suite was also a great setup for getting ready and taking pictures.
